Vladimir Jurowski - Honorary Conductor of the Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra
Musicians of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia named after E. F. Svetlanov unanimously chose Vladimir Jurowski as a honorary conductor of the collective.
Vladimir Jurowski was the artistic director of the Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra from 2011 to 2021. In the 2021/22 season, the cooperation of Jurowski and the orchestra will continue. Performances will be held in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. Works by Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Gustav Mahler, Claude Debussy, Richard Strauss, Igor Stravinsky and Dmitri Shostakovich will be performed.
