Radio "Orpheus": Vladimir Jurowski conducts

On 30 January 2018 radio "Orpheus" will broadcast a recording of the concert performed by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia "Evgeny Svetlanov". The programme to include "Cantata for the 20th Anniversary of the October Revolution" by S. Prokofiev, Symphony No. 2 by D. Shostakovich, Violin concerto by M. Weinberg and "Three poems by Olga Sedakova" by A. Vustin. Soloist - Gidon Kremer (violin), Maxim Mikhailov (bass). Sveshnikov State Academic Russian Choir and Yurlov Russian State Academic Choir took part int he concert. Conductor - Vladimir Jurowski. The recording was made in the Great hall of the Moscow Conservatory on 9 November 2017. The broadcast will start at 21.00 (Moscow time).
