Konstantin Ivanov: 110th Birthday

On 21 May 2017 radio "Orpheus" will broadcast the programme, dedicated to the 110 anniversary of Konstantin Ivanov (1907-1984), the Principal Conductor of the State Symphonic Orchestra of the USSR from 1946 to 1965. Recordings of "Spanish Capriccio" by N. Rimsky-Korsakov, symphonic poem "Francesca da Rimini" by P. Tchaikovsky and "Skiff suite" by S. Prokofiev will be broadcasted. The recordings were made under the baton of K. Ivanov. The programme will start at 20:00 (Moscow time).
