Opening ceremony of the Grand Piano Competition: video broadcast

On 30 April 2016 the State Orchestra of Russia “Evgeny Svetlanov” takes part in the Opening ceremony of the I International Competition for Young Pianists Grand Piano Competition. The ceremony will take place at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Programme will include overture-fantasy Romeo and Juliet by P. Tchaikovsky and Piano Concerto No. 2 by S. Prokofiev. Soloist – Denis Matsuev. Conductor – Valery Gergiev. Live broadcast, starting 20.00 (Moscow time), is organized by the channel medici.tv.
