The State Orchestra Will Play at the MSU

On 6 April 2016, the State Orchestra of Russia “Evgeny Svetlanov” led by Vladimir Jurowski, will play at the Lomonosov Moscow State University. On the program of the concert, which will take place at the University’s Assembly Hall, are Mozart’s Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra (soloist: Mikhail Urman, Principal Bassoonist, Honored Artist of Russia), Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 3. Also on the program is the world premiere of Gennady Gladkov’s orchestral transcription of Prokofiev’s piano piece “Suggestion Diabolique.”
