To the 100th Anniversary of the Beginning of World War I

On 13 September 2014 the concert of the State Orchestra in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of World War I will be broadcast live on Radio Orpheus.

On the program are works by Janáček, Liadov, Debussy, Myaskovsky and Gabriel Prokofiev.

Soloists: Daniel Hope (violin), Lilianna Petrusenko (soprano), Ludovít Ludha (tenor)

Also featured is the Yurlov State Academic Choir Cappella of Russia.

Broadcast starts at 19:00 (Moscow time)

After the concert, conductor Vladimir Jurowski, composer Gabriel Prokofiev and violinist Daniel Hope will answer questions from the audience.
