In memory of Evgeny Svetlanov

On 6 September 2014, the State Orchestra concert in memory of the legendary conductor Evgeny Svetlanov (he was born on 6 September 86 years ago) will be broadcast live on Radio Orpheus.

On the program are Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 38, Sergei Prokofiev’s Concerto No. 2 for Violin and Orchestra, and Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9.
